“Collège Notre Dame de Louaizé Choir” was re-established in the academic year 2023-2024 after a five-year pause due to unforeseen circumstances. The choir currently consists of 35 singers and 8 musicians, with members ranging from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Additionally, we are proud of the participation of a group of alumni from various graduating classes, enriching the diversity of the choir.
The primary objective of the choir aligns with the broader vision and mission of our school, which focuses on:
-
- Fostering discipline, belonging, and commitment.
-
- Promoting cultural and intellectual development.
-
- Encouraging creativity and collaboration through teamwork.
-
- Developing and showcasing gifted and talented students.
The choir meets for rehearsals twice a week to work on developing musical skills, group harmony, and performance preparation.
In its first major performance since the reformation, our choir participated in the Catholic Schools Choir Competition, where they won first prize among 14 competing schools. This achievement was further highlighted by the choir being awarded both “Best Choir” and “Best Choir Conductor.”
CNDL Choir plays a vital role in enhancing musical education and offering valuable opportunities for personal growth and cultural enrichment.
