Teachers’ Committee

Mission

The Notre Dame de Louaize College Teachers’ Committee plays a crucial role as a bridge between the administration and the teaching staff. It defends the interests of teachers, conveys their concerns, and ensures their well-being.

Structure and governance

The association is composed of 14 members democratically elected by their peers for a two-year term. A bureau is elected from among the members to lead the association and carry out its missions.

Activities and services

The association is committed on several fronts to support the teaching staff:

Representation and defense of rights: As a spokesperson for teachers to the administration, the association ensures that their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed fairly.

Liaison with the union: It ensures liaison with the teachers’ union of Lebanon, keeping them informed of national issues and offering them a collective voice.

Social support and benefits: The association offers social assistance and support to teachers during significant life events (marriage, birth, death).

Improvement of working conditions: It ensures the comfort and well-being of teachers during working hours by providing essential amenities and managing logistical issues.

Festive and cultural activities: The association organizes festive events and cultural activities to promote camaraderie and cohesion among the teaching staff.

Incentives and encouragement: It strives to offer incentives, benefits, and offers that improve the daily lives of teachers.

Follow-up of concerns: The association takes charge of and ensures the follow-up of all requests and queries from teachers through its departmental representatives.
